Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) is the economic representation of Flanders abroad. The main task of Flanders Investment & Trade is to support Flemish companies exporting to Italy and Italy based companies seeking to locate and invest in Flanders.
Job description
Flanders Investment & Trade is looking for a temporary (6th of September, 2021 till 10th of December, 2021) Assistant to the Local Head of Office (M/F) for its office in Milan. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on colleague who wants to be part of our small team.
Main tasks:
- Assisting the Local Head of Office in daily business operations
- General office administration and accounting
- Support pro-active information gathering and screening
- Answer the questions received by Flemish or local companies
- Assist with the preparation of individual prospection trips of Flemish companies
- Desk top research and preparation of market studies
- Support with the organization of special projects and activities
- Database management (data entry, data checking)
- Respond to email and phone inquiries
- Identifying companies that could benefit from setting up an operation in Flanders
- Marketing, communication and social media
- Reporting to the Local Head of Office in MilanNote: you may be required to work outside business hours for events whenever necessary.Required skills
- Bachelor ́s degree, preferably in Commerce, International Business or similar
- Native Italian speaker or excellent level of the Italian language, good command ofwritten and spoken English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Relevant experience in administration, data entry is preferable
- Proficiency in marketing & communication, international business and projectmanagement
- Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
- Good knowledge of Microsoft environment and applications (MS Office, Dynamics365, Teams..)
- Attention to detail and work excellence
- Good interpersonal skills, team player mentalityWhat we offer
- A temporary full-time contract to support the preparation of the Belgian State Visit to Italy, contract starting the 6th of September, 2021 and ending the 10th of December, 2021
